Fitch Lumber and Hardware Co. is a 4th generation family business started back in 1907. Beginning in Mebane, NC, we moved into Carrboro when rapid development occurred surrounding the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally a planer mill and coal depot, we transformed into a full-service retailer and building supply yard.  We provide an array of building products such as framing and finish lumber, plywood, siding, decking, masonry products, custom millwork, windows and doors, specialty products, lock & key service, and all sorts of miscellaneous hardware. Our large showrooms in Carrboro and North Raleigh display a wide variety of cutting-edge building products that create long-term value for our clients.
